About

Maria Filardo

With a passion for design and a commitment to quality, award winning Canberra based architect and interior designer Maria Filardo has an impressive array of projects to her name. A local designer with 20 years of experience in both disciplines, Maria offers a full range of services covering both interiors and architecture in all aspects of project delivery in Canberra.

Maria is skilled in residential, rural, commercial and hospitality design and her portfolio speaks volumes for the variety, complexity and range of projects she has worked on. When it comes to expert design and architecture, you get the best of both worlds when you work with Maria.

Maria puts her heart and soul into the spaces she creates. Her careful analysis of the needs and wants of her clients, coupled with her multi-skilled ability to design in an artistic and innovative way has created a huge demand for her services.

She knows true architecture is an art form that should fit the individual tastes and preferences of her clients. This is why she takes the time to listen with precise detail to her clients’ ideas and wishes, so the end result not only meets the practical needs of every client but is also at the forefront of architectural design.

Maria enjoys spending her free time in her country house baking, eating her baked goods and hanging out with her furry monochromes – her black cat and white dog.
